Yolo Mambo has been playing around Northern California for over five years, from outdoor tent festivals, house concerts, corporate poolside parties, weddings, and wineries, to intimate restaurant dining and rowdy dancing.
The transglobal rhythms of Yolo Mambo will transport you to Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Cape Verde, France, Spain, New Zealand, and the States. Yolo Mambo blends spicy cha-cha, jazz, bossa nova, samba, salsa, and folk with the dynamic vocals of Catherine LeBlanc in languages from all over this Earth. Catherine has published over 17 original songs, and plays ukelele, plains flute, and percussion. Completing the instrumental and vocal backing are jazz and world music veterans Carla Campbell on percussion, Phil Summers on Spanish guitar, and Steve O’Neill on string bass.
