 YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL (6th - 12th grade)
CONNECT is a Bible-centered Sunday school curriculum where youth discover how individual Bible stories connect into larger themes that span the whole Bible. This fall starts their journey in the Old Testament , giving them a solid understanding of the history of God’s people, and adds context to who Jesus is and why Jesus is so important.

 C.R.E.W. Youth Group Events

The Dixon United Methodist Church has a lot to look forward to in the month of May. There will be some outdoor, in-person gatherings for youth and young adults. The C.R.E.W (Christians Ready Equipped and Willing), a fellowship for older youth, will gather this Sunday for an evening picnic on the church grounds. Then, the following Saturday, the young adults will meet-up for ice cream and deliver strawberries to the mothers of the church for Mother’s Day. The younger youth, the Y2 Squad will meet later in the month for an outdoor dinner and games.

Youth in Mission with Sierra Service Project

Each summer the DixonUMC senior high youth embark on a mission trip with the Sierra Service Project which grows their faith as they serve others in the name of Christ.

The Sierra Service Project (SSP) is a Christian non-profit organization which provides life changing experiences through acts of service repairing homes in rural, urban, and Native American communities and serving in Central America.  Dixon UMC high school youth and their adult leaders spend a week together working, worshiping, making new friends, and gaining understanding of a community different from their own.

During the school year, a combined junior/senior high SSP weekend of service trip undertakes a short term project in one of the urban areas near Dixon.
