The church will offer in-person outdoor worship service this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Twenty households will be welcomed into Friendship Garden. The safety of everyone is a high priority. All those attending will be required to wear a mask, sanitize their hands, and have their temperature taken. There will be designated seating areas that are a minimum of six feet apart. Friendship Garden is shaded in the morning, and should be pleasant. Sunday@9 The musicians for this Sunday will be pianist Jana Gabby and vocalist Hannah Miller. The Sunday@9 Livestream service is available on the DixonUMC YouTube Channel, on church's Facebook page: @Dixon United Methodist Church or clicking on the link below on Sunday. Prayer Request forms are availableand submitted prayers will be shared with the prayer chain. Please indicate on the request if it is something you do not want to have shared publicly. Daily Devotion messages are approximately five minutes in length. Thoughts and reflections on a Bible reading are offered. Prayer exercises suggested to give participants a way of taking action. .The Daily Devotions are sent by email and posted to the church FaceBook page. Fall Bible Study The church will offer a new online Bible study, Hebrews: Grace to Gratitude. The study's author, David deSilva, traces the themes of grace and gratitude in the book of Hebrews in the New Testament.
